Programmes tailored to you
We discuss the occasion, room, timing and atmosphere with you before suggesting music and ensemble size.
Our ensembles
Musicians from Salzburg,
brought together by classical music.
Mozart in the City presents the Mozart Kammerorchester Salzburg and the Salzburger Mozart Ensemble. Our musicians, around 20 in all and many trained at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, have been performing at concerts and special events since 2002.
From chamber music to orchestra.
Depending on the occasion, our musicians perform as a duo or string quartet, in larger chamber groups or with the Mozart Kammerorchester Salzburg.
Mozart and other great classical composers are at the heart of our repertoire. We also perform contemporary pop songs and familiar melodies arranged for string instruments.
We tailor the music and line-up to your occasion, preferences and desired atmosphere – whether for a concert, wedding, corporate event, reception or private celebration.

Tibor Benyi – Founder and Former Artistic Director
The Hungarian cellist and conductor Tibor Benyi founded the Salzburger Kammermusikakademie in 2002. As artistic director until 2023, he shaped the musical development of the Mozart Kammerorchester Salzburg and the Salzburger Mozart Ensemble for more than two decades, laying the foundation for the ensembles' concert activities today.
